I’ve heard this phrase many times throughout my life, “Just put on your big girl panties and get over it.” It is usually after someone is wallowing in the sorrows. It starts with a list of life’s troubles, interrupted with deep breaths, tears. Yes, there are times where a pat on the shoulder, “Stop your crying and move on, Soldier” is needed. I’ve often said the eleventh commandment should be, “Thou shall not freak out.” Nevertheless, today I feel a example should be made for just putting on big girl panties because we’ve all been there.
First, ‘big girl panties’ must be defined. The expression is that the person must grow up, show some adulthood, resolution, and perhaps stop expecting someone else to fix their life. The phrase panties (all sizes, shape and color) are what’s hidden on the inside. Pardon me, but I’m going to be literal for a moment. Girl panties vs. Men’s underwear which are defined as boxers or briefs have a visible hole to vent and we all need to vent.
“Day of the Week” panties were a birthday present I treasured when I was 10 years old. Just think a new freak out day in a new color of your desire. Now think about the thongs, these panties have half the blow a gasket day and to me are well-known as female action hero’s big girl panties. It takes a real woman to wear thongs.
My point, I have had many put on your big girl panties freak out days and I have grabbed my best pair and just rocked that day’s pretty undergarment and view my day with a positive outlook because tomorrow is another day.

Female Empowerment Quote from the back cover of I’m Entitled. "We all enter this life through the miracle of birth like fruit on tree. We are conceived by a seed and squeeze through the body of our mothers to bloom and grow."
I prefer hardcover books to hold close to my heart. Smell the newness of each page. Read the words made of ink, place the book on a shelf, and stare at it as if it is a beautiful piece of art. I’m just an old fashion kind of girl, a little sentimental about touching things that are real. Meet my baggage BLOG.
So true about doing it.
